My name is CJ Pobur, 20 year ice hockey coach and 8 year youth hockey director. I am passionate about starting a new chapter of roller hockey in our area.
High level players have a history of competing in these events and have been nationally competitive. It gives players a great place to develop, try something new, and have some fun in the summer months playing the Roller Hockey Circuit.
Check out the menu tabs to learn more about the roller hockey world!
I am looking to create opportunities at as many age groups as possible to field teams for the tournaments and get kids in to roller hockey in the ice "off season". We will not participate as teams in any events that conflicts with ice season. Think of roller as a summer sport! To learn more about the roller hockey circuit click
Practice: Using the local roller rinks to get players a feel for the differences between ice and roller hockey, hone our skills, learn basic strategy, and prepare for the two tournament events.
**Starting in June**, Practices will be 1 day a week at Inline Hockey Center in West Bloomfield.
Tourney #1: Fraser Summer Bash - Big Boy Arena (Fraser, MI)
June 13th- 19th
Form as many teams as we can gain interest for and attend the Fraser Summer Bash tournament as a first taste of roller hockey.
Tourney #2
2. BearCat National Championships - Big Boy Arena (Fraser, MI)
July 1st - July 4th
National Tournament being hosted locally. We would play in this event with teams built to be competitive as possible. Multiple teams would be built on focus of caliber.
Tourney #3: State Wars 21 - Taylor Sportsplex (Taylor, MI) & Big Boy Arena (Fraser, MI) (Schedule varies by age group, click here for dates)
July 26th- July 28th
Attend the State Wars event hosted at Taylor. Teams from all over the country (some even international) attend this event and pursue roller hockey glory. State Wars is a high level event where our players would represent the state of Michigan vs. other states.
